Zenith
Boosters is a conservative, libertarian and constitutionalist discussion
group that usually meets monthly in the Kansas City metro area. Normally,
we meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the University
Club [map], 918 Baltimore, Kansas City,
MO and occasionally at the Indian Hills
Country Club [map], on Tomahawk Lane,
Prairie Village, KS. Meetings start at 6 p.m. for a social hour, the
featured guest's presentation at 7:00 p.m. A question and answer session
usually follows.
We are organized as a non-profit
educational corporation under the laws of Missouri [Zenith Boosters Club,
Inc.]. We are also recognized as a section 501(c)(3) group by the Internal
Revenue Service. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by
law. A contribution of $15 is requested at each meeting to cover the
cost of the meeting room and for the travel of our honored guests.
Occasionally a larger contribution may be necessary to cover costs. Further
information is available on our membership
page.
Read details of the Constitution
for the United States of America. But first, you may wish to take this
test on your
understanding of this document which contains the basic "law of the
land." Even constitutional lawyers are sometimes
surprised.
A reader who had not the courage
to leave an email address or any other identification recently advised us "Do
you know that the Zenith Boosters Club is mocked in the book published in
1922 called "Babbitt" by Sinclair Lewis? I had to read the book,
but I was wondering if you were aware or not." Well yes,
dear reader, that's part of the joke. There was a link to the etext
version of Babbit posted here in the past. Hey!
Here it is back again. |
